HI,
What is the thinking of Lufthansa wanting to make Brussels Airlines to fold into the Eurowings Group? The two business models seems totally separate, no? Brussels is a network carrier with a sole hub, a long-haul specialty region (Africa), nice lounges, business class and all that, while Eurowings was intended to be lower-cost, point to point competitor to Ryanair and Easyjet, while the long-haul arm or Eurowings ONLY features holiday destinations. If the two brands were to merge, this would re-create the Air Berlin dilemma of a "one airline for everybody to anywhere but not really"-airline. Does LH not understand that?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
